Return policy

Returns & Exchange Policy:

Before you return a Kantha Store product, please take a moment to understand how our products are made. All our products are handcrafted by traditional craft persons in rural India, resulting in each product being unique and slightly different from each other.

All products are handmade, so there can be slight irregular weaves in the base fabric or print stains or a missing stitch which is part of the beauty of the handcrafted product. There can be slight variation in the colours since exact reproduction of the colours of the product cannot be done and the colours differ from every mobile / tablet / laptop screen.

We ensure that all the products that are shipped meet our high standards of quality control. Please read below our return policy before you return any item:-

  • Products can be returned in case there is any damage in the product. In the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged, you should email us a photo of the damaged product with the Product Tag within 48 hours of receiving your order. You can call us on +91-8420 949424 or e-mail us at info@kanthastore.com.
  • If you are unsatisfied with the product for any reason, we have a “No questions asked returns policy”. You need to mail us at info@kanthastore.com within 48 hours from the date of receiving the product.
  • Please mention your order number in the subject line to help us quickly process your return.
  • For Domestic orders, we will arrange a pick-up from your place (reverse pick-up may not be available on selected PINCODES).
  • For International orders, once your request is received and approved, you will be asked to ship across the products to Kolkata, India. Return Address will be confirmed to you by mail only. Responsibility of the safety of the product returned by the customer lies with the customer only. We will not be held responsible for the loss / damage caused during the transit of the product from the customer to The Kantha Storereturn address.
  • Please ensure that the returned merchandize is unused, unworn, unwashed and is in a saleable condition. We request you to maintain the original packaging of the items to be returned, including the tags.
  • Please ensure that all the returned items are packed securely and safely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.
  • Any order which is undelivered due to any issues from the customer’s end, are inapplicable for Refund. Hence, its requested to not place any refund request, in case of non-delivery of products wherein the customer was unreachable/out of station/has provided incorrect shipping information or any such issues which arise from customer side.
  • We will initiate the refund within 3 days after we receive the returned item and it has gone through the necessary quality checks. In the case of returns, banks normally take 5-7 working days to process a refund once it has been initiated from our end

Cancellations

Cancellation requests will be accepted strictly within 24 hours of placing the order only.

Shipping Policy

1. At Kantha Store, we take great care in delivering your products to you, and we partner only with reputed national couriers(Fedex, DTDC &Delhivery). Shipping within India is FREE for all orders above 4999 INR. For orders below that, we charge a flat 150 INR shipping fee.

2. For International Orders a flat shipping charge of Rs.2000/- will be added to the price of the product. We use only reputed international couriers i.e. Fedex /DHL/Aramex Couriers for international shipping. Please note that any additional customs / charges at the destination country have to be borne by the clients, as per their respective laws.

3. Our courier partners will be able to deliver the shipment to you between Monday through Saturday: 9 AM to 7 PM. Delivery time is subject to factors beyond our control including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions, strikes and govt. regulations.

4. Address change will be accepted only if order has not been shipped.

5. We will Email / WhatsApp your package tracking information, as soon as your package is shipped out.
